The college offered a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), which are professional course offered for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching & prepare teachers for primary level (Class I to V), upper primary, or middle level (Class VI to VIII), Secondary (Class IX to X) and Senior Secondary (Class XI to XII) level.

Duration:-

The B.Ed. course is of two academic years.

There shall be at least 200 teaching days every year. In the second year exclusively every trainee shall be required to undergo an Internship Programme (including practice teaching and skill development) in an upper primary, secondary, or senior secondary Government/recognized school for a minimum duration of 16 weeks for B.Ed. Course.

Eligibility criteria for students:-

As per NCTE norms, a candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate at B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. and B.Tech/BBA/BCA with 55% from any recognized University for B.Ed. Course.

A relaxation of 5% is granted to candidates belonging to reserved categories namely SC, ST, etc.

Medium of Instruction :-

The medium of instruction will be in Hindi & English, except in language paper.

INTAKE

Only 200 students will be admitted per academic year in both B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. Course.

The reservation policy of the Government of Bihar will be strictly followed.
