The college offer Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), a professional course offered for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching & prepare teachers for primary level (Class I to V), upper primary, or middle level (Class VI to VIII), Secondary (Class IX to X) and Senior Secondary (Class XI to XII) level.

Duration:-

The D.El.Ed. course is of two academic years.

There shall be at least 200 teaching days every year exclusively out of which every trainee shall be required to undergo a school Experience Programme (including practice teaching and skill development) in Government primary school for a minimum duration of 4 weeks in 1st year and 16 weeks in 2nd year for D.El.Ed. course.

Eligibility criteria for students:-

A Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate at the Intermediate examination from any recognized Board for D.El.Ed. Course.

A relaxation of 5% is granted to candidates belonging to reserved categories namely SC, ST, etc.

Medium of Instruction:-

The medium of instruction will be in Hindi & English, except in language paper.

INTAKE

Only 200 students will be admitted per academic year in D.El.Ed. Course.

The reservation policy of the Government of Bihar will be strictly followed.

Admission Procedure

Selection of candidates for admission shall be made purely on the basis of entrance test or on merit basis as per the policy of State Government/Affiliating body. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the college notice board /website.

          Following documents would be submitted along with the application form at the time of admission.

1. Photocopy of the Matriculation mark sheet and certificate.
2. Photocopy of the Intermediate mark sheet and certificate.
3. Photocopy of Graduation mark sheet (each year) and certificate (if the candidate is graduate)
4. Six recent colour passport size photograph tags with name and date.
5. Photocopy of caste certificate.
6. Migration Certificate in original (if the candidate is a graduate)
7. College leaving certificate in original.
8. Character Certificate in original.
9. Two self-address registered envelopes.
